We collect information in two ways depending on whether you are a provider (a wellness practitioner using Text Ferry) or a client (a patient or customer whose practitioner uses Text Ferry).

We use provider information to operate the Text Ferry service — delivering automated replies, logging inbound messages, and sending follow-up notifications.
We use client phone numbers and message content solely to route and respond to inbound SMS communications on behalf of the registered provider. We do not use client information for any other purpose.
We do not use any information collected through Text Ferry for marketing or advertising purposes directed at clients.
Text Ferry sends automated SMS messages on behalf of wellness practitioners to their existing clients. By using Text Ferry, providers confirm that their clients have been informed of and consented to receive automated SMS replies from the provider's practice.
Every automated message sent through Text Ferry includes an opt-out instruction. Clients may reply STOP at any time to stop receiving automated messages. Clients may reply HELP at any time for assistance.

No mobile opt-in data or SMS consent information is shared with any third party, affiliate, or lead generator under any circumstances. This includes marketing partners, advertising networks, and data brokers.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

We retain provider account information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to resolve disputes and fulfill our legal obligations. Message logs are retained for up to 12 months and then deleted.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing steph@textferry.app.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and access controls on stored data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email steph@textferry.app and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are a client who has received automated messages from a Text Ferry number and would like to be removed from that provider's system, reply STOP to any message or contact us directly and we will facilitate removal.
Text Ferry is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active users by email. Continued use of Text Ferry after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
